In 2016 Conservation Masonry were employed both to undertake remedial stone repair works to the existing facade and gable and to undertake structural repairs and re-decoration works to the ornate internal church ceiling and walls. In order to maintain access to the church for some events a high level crash deck was constructed to enclose the works and allow the church to operate at some level of normality. Over a 30 week contract period the church façade and in particular the ornate internal ceiling was returned to their former glory.
