As part of the planning conditions for a new housing development in the Finnieston area of Glasgow in 2016, over a 56 week contract period, Conservation Masonry constructed a new stone façade to the timber kit structure beneath. Stanton Moor stone was chosen as a compatible stone type and match to adjacent buildings and was sourced and constructed in circa 22,000 individually sized stones to meet the architects design criteria.

The finished product both allows the new build structure to fit in to the street aesthetically and gives the structure a more diverse look than that that would be obtained by a cladding or brick finish. |
