MacFadzean Monument, Ardrossan

Built in 1849 in memory to Alexander MacFadzean a local physician noted for his contribution to the town this structure can be seen rising above the skyline of Ardrossan from miles around.
In 2017 Conservation Masonry were employed to undertake remedial stone repair work, pointing works and specialist DOFF cleaning works together with supplying and building in a new feature cope surround and painting the existing railings and restoring the existing painted lettering to the monument.
