Glasgow Royal Infirmary

Between 2012 and 2014 Conservation Masonry Limited were involved in a £3million pound overhaul of the external stonework to the Victorian Royal Infirmary Hospital in the edge of the city centre, acting as Main Contractor Conservation Masonry with great care executed the extensive overhaul to each elevation including high level ornate balustrade balconies, barrel vault cupulor and doric columns.
We took into consideration the nature of the building and the patients within, working direct with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde the extensive stonework overhaul was a massive success.
The hospital had never before underwent such an extensive overhaul of the existing external fabric, many of the Victorian attributes have been restored and retained to an untouchable standard and the great extent of the natural stone replacement can be seen from afar.
